This workshop weaves together Florence Nightingale's (1820 - 1910) legacy, science, and art to increase our understanding of being a global citizen activist at our deepest and highest expression of self, nature, and culture as we work together to create a healthy world by 2020.
Barbara Dossey, PhD, RN, AHN-BC, FAAN, is an international codirector of the Nightingale Initiative for Global Health, director of Holistic Nursing Consultants, a Florence Nightingale scholar, and an author or coauthor of 23 books. Barbara is an eight-time recipient of the American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year Award.

Most conference sessions have been approved for continuing education units through the National Board for Certified Counselors, the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, the California Board of Registered Nursing, and the State of Illinois, Division of Professional Regulation, Registered Social Worker Continuing Education Sponsor.
