In Native American spiritual tradition, ceremony is practiced to align our personal lives with the Spirit so that we can connect with the community in harmony. Tony will open our conference by using ceremony and symbolism to unite the collective intentions of all attendees. He will direct us around the Circle of Life, using chant, drum, and spiritual narrative.
Friday Evening After-hours Event: Exhibition Hoop Dance—Tony Redhouse
A Hoop Dancer since childhood, Mr. Redhouse creates powerful designs with the hoops that reveal our connection to life in the universe. Enjoy a captivating performance, with accompaniment by a live drummer, that uses multiple hoops symbolic of the cycles of life that comprise our universe. Tony infuses humor and a personal story into his interpretation of this dance.
(PS3) Native American Healing Meditation Workshop—Tony Redhouse
Dressed in full regalia, Tony Redhouse will facilitate a group meditation using ancient forms of expression in Native American culture: the voice, the drum, and the flute. He will guide you to a healing place deep within, where you soar to your highest dreams.

Most conference sessions have been approved for continuing education units through the National Board for Certified Counselors, the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, the California Board of Registered Nursing, and the State of Illinois, Division of Professional Regulation, Registered Social Worker Continuing Education Sponsor. The $25 processing fee is to be paid onsite at the CEU desk.
