Cathy Coleman, PhD, Youth Conference Director, is director of IONS retreat center. She holds a doctorate in East-West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Cathy has a passion for creating empowering experiences for youth of all ages, and has directed seven prior youth conferences for the transpersonal community.
For participants from 13 to 18
The Pathfinders program offers facilitated group work, art expression, dream-sharing, and presentations by some of our main conference presenters. The program parallels the main conference and will include participation in plenary sessions. This year's program focuses on worldview literacy, educational lessons currently being created and studied by the IONS research department. The program is for young people interested in self-discovery, clarity of life purpose, and creative exploration. Saturday lunch included. The program is facilitated by Luisah Teish and directed by Cathy Coleman. Program details will be available for viewing at the IONS website by March 1, 2009. Fees: by Feb 25—$105; by May 22—$125; after May 22—$150.
All students under 18 must be accompanied to the conference by a parent or guardian. Limited partial scholarships for the main conference may be available for the youth program and for students from 19 to 25. To obtain a scholarship application, please email conference@noetic.org.
